BJP to organize 'Suraksha Yatra' in coastal districts from March 3; Yogi Adityanath to address rally in Suratkal

Ankola 15 Feb 2018: The BJP MP and State General Secretary Shobha Karandlaje, on Wednesday announced that the party will organize a 'Karnataka Suraksha Yatra' the coastal districts from March 3-6 in a bid to instill peace and communal stability in the region.
Karandlaje said, "There is fear all across the coastal districts after the recent communal clashes, and hence we want to organize the Suraksha Yatra". She further added that the Yatra will not be against any community or religion and that sentiments or feelings of any religion will not be hurt, and the only motto will be instilling peace and harmony between Muslims and Hindus.
The Yatras will commence from two places, Kushalnagar of Kodagu and Ankola of Uttara Kannada and will culminate both at Suratkal where UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address the rally on March 06.
DV Sadanand Gowda will flag off the rally from Kushalnagar and Anant Kumar Hegde will do the job from Ankola.
Amit Shah will also visit Uttara Kannada District on February 20 and is expected to meet the family of Paresh Mesta who was allegedly killed on December last year which had triggered communal clashes in the district.
