BJP MLA NVSS Prabhakar has appealed Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) to support NDA candidate Ramnath Kovind in the Presidential elections.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana BJP headquarters at Nampally on Friday, Prabhakar said Narendra Modi Government has been implementing various schemes for the development of minorities in the country. Therefore, he said that the MIM too should support the NDA candidate. He said he was appealing to all political parties to support Ramnath Kovind.

Prabhakar said Kovind was all set to become the next President of India and the polling was just a necessary formality.

The BJP MLA also claimed that the Congress party would be finished in Telangana State after Presidential polls. He said except three MLAs, all other legislators of Congress party would vote in favour of Kovind. He said there would be one sided voting in Telangana in favour of NDA candidate. (INN)
