BJP held press meet as counter-stroke against PSI Revathi's allegations

Bhatkallys News Service/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 30 Aug 2016: A day after Bhatkal PSI Revathi wrote a letter to Karnataka Home Minister making serious allegations against ASP Anoop Kumar and other BJP leaders of being harassed on duty by ASP and alleging the role of BJP leaders in recent acts of abandoning Raw flesh in Two temple’s premises in a bid to trigger communal tension among Hindus and Muslim. BJP leaders in a counter stroke, held an immediate press meet here in Bhatkal on Wednesday and condemned the allegations by Ms. Revathi and called it baseless. BJP leaders claimed all this acts by Ms. Revathi is an attempt to come out of the mess she is currently in, Ms Reavthi had received transfer orders for mishandling a case in which she was allegedly being partial and was favoring one party. Interestingly, Mr. Anoop Kumar was the one who had issued her Transfer orders. Later, in the letter Lady officer called it an act to safeguard those BJP leaders who were disrupting the peace of town by taking her off from the case as well as from the town. At the press meet BJP leaders said, if she had a strong case or proof regarding their role in any cases, they were open for arrest, and she could have arrested them, but she didn’t proceed because she had nothing to prove against them, and now she is using their name to gain local sympathy and support to remain on the post.
