Biker injured in a road accident in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 31 May 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) One person sustained severe injuries in a road accident between a bike and a car at NH-66 near Belke in Bhatkal here on Friday morning. The injured person has been identified as Padmasuprit Bhat, resident of Mangaluru. According to source, when Padmasuprit Bhat was riding his KTM bike towards Mangaluru from Bhatkal he rammed his bike to a car that was coming from opposite direction. He was reportedly trying to over take a lorry. The accident left Bhat with severe injuries on his hands and other parts of the body while his bike was also completely damaged. After providing first-aid at Bhatkal Taluka Government Hospital, he was rushed to a private Hospital in Udupi. A case has been registered at Bhatkal rural police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
