Biker dies after tree falls on him in Honnavar

Bhatkal 7 August 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A two-wheeler rider died on the spot when a huge tree fell on his bike amidst heavy rainfall at Tulasani of Honnavar Taluka on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Vittal Ganapati Shetty (48). According to the reports, a huge tree collapsed due to heavy rain accompanied by strong winds and fell on Ganapati's bike, killing him on the spot A case has been registered at Honnavar Police Station.
