BIFA Yellow wins 'BIFA Monsoon Football' Tournament

Bhatkal - 12 July 2011: BIFA Yellow defeated BIFA Nexus by 3 goals in the final of 'BIFA Monsoon Football' tournament which was being played here at Nawayath Colony YMSA grounds and clinched the trophy and a cash award of Rs 2000/-.

The five day tournament was kicked off on 7th July wherein 24 teams from Bhatkal taluka have been participated. In the semi-finals, BIFA Yellow defeated Murdeshwar while BIFA Nexus defeated Royal Bhatkal. Mr Maviya Mohtesham adjudged Player of the Tournament while Mr Hiban Shabandri awarded with Best Goal-keeper award.
