BIFA wins District level football tournament organised by UKDFA

Bhatkal Inter-Football Association (BIFA) emerged as the winners of District-level Football tournament organised by Uttara Kannada District Football Association in Sirsi and Byndoor. Playing in Byndoor division, BIFA defeated RU FC team of Shiroor in final to emerge as the champions.
The tournament was divided into two zones – A and B – matches of Zone A were played in Sirsi while the matches of Zone B were played in Byndoor.
Around 11 teams from across the District participated in the tournament.
Several players along with teams were awarded for their performances in the tournament during the prize distributing ceremony.
Hifzur Rahman Barmawar was present in the closing ceremony of the tournament as the Chief Guest, while Ranjit Kumar was present as the Guest of Honor along with Inayatullah Shabandri, Abdul Ghani MH, Abdul Gafoor Shaikh, Aheed Mohtesham and others.
