BIFA Junior wins BIFA under-14 football tournament

May 24, 2015 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: BIFA Junior has won the 2-day under-14 football tournament organized by BIFA (Bhatkal Inter Football Association) at Taluka Stadium, Nawayat Colony. 12 teams participated in this tournament that was held on May 22 and 23. In the final match, BIFA Junior was up against Al-Firdaus in which BIFA Junior outsmarted its opponent in the penalty shootout to win the match 2-1. In the closing ceremony, the winning team, BIFA Junior was awarded trophy and Rs 2,500/- cash prize, while runners up team Al-Firdaus was awarded trophy and Rs 1,299/- cash prize. In the closing ceremony, Sadiqeen Shingeri, Nazeer Shingeri, Ishtiyaque Hasan, Maawiya Mohatisham and others were present. - ARF
