Bidding begins for Bhatkal Premier League 2012

Dubai - The second edition of bidding for Bhatkal Premier League (BPL), a cricket tournament organised by the BPL Governing Council, has started at Dubai's Twin Tower. The tournament is built on the lines of the Indian Preimer League and features teams owned by Bhatkalli residents of Dubai. A total of eight teams are included in this edition of the tournament. Each team bids using their allotted 250 points, which need to be used to reserve 14 players. A total of 157 Bhatkalli cricket players will be up for auction at this year's BPL bidding.
