Bhatkal’s Tanzeem felicitates Uttara Kannada SP M. Narayan for receiving DGP-IGP Award

Bhatkal, May 29: Superintendent of Police of Uttara Kannada district, M. Narayan, was recently conferred with the prestigious DGP-IGP Award by the Karnataka State Police Department in recognition of his commendable service. To honour this achievement, Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem,  felicitated the SP at his office in Karwar.

 

A delegation from Tanzeem, led by senior office-bearer Azizur Rahman Ruknuddin Nadwi, met SP Narayan and presented him with a bouquet, appreciating his leadership in maintaining peace and communal harmony across the district. 

 

The delegation also conveyed the organisation's full support to the police department in its ongoing efforts to safeguard law and order, particularly in Bhatkal and surrounding areas.

 

During the interaction, SP Narayan expressed his gratitude to the delegation and reiterated the department’s commitment to ensuring peace and security in the district. 

 

On the occasion, SP Narayan extended Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the Muslim community and urged people to celebrate the festival peacefully, while respecting the sentiments of people from all faiths.

 

Other members of the Tanzeem delegation included Advocate Imran Lanka, Altaf Kharuri, and Mubeen Damudi.
