Bhatkal's public angry on Tanzeem's selection of candidate for ZP by-polls

19 Sep 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Bhatkal's public has gone furious with Majlis Islah-va-Tanzeem's decision to field Imran Lanka as an independent candidate for Jaali Zilla Panchayat by-elections and also laid allegation of impartiality and bias on them. There's a lot of talk going around the public after this decision of Tanzeem. Expressing their anger, public gathered at Majlis Islah-va-Tanzeemm pressurizing them to review their decision. People are of the opinion that, under pressure from officials of a special party, Tanzeem has favoured a candidate who doesn't have any experience in politics. It was also heard from some people that they have sidelined a candidate who has excellent know-how of politics and has managed to get a ticket from one of the biggest political party in India. Due to this decision, Tanzeem may again endure defeat as they did in recent assembly elections. Terming Tanzeem's decision as anti-people, Bhatkal's public has requested them to review their decision.
