Bhatkal's Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem conferred 'Best NGO' award by Times Group

Bhatkal 3 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal’s socio-political organization Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem was on Wednesday conferred with Best NGO award at the Achievers of Karnataka award organized by Times Groups’ Vijaya Karnataka news daily in a awards ceremony at Hotel Shangri-La Bengaluru. “Vijaya Karnataka has made sincere effort to identify and honour individuals and institutions for their extraordinary and outstanding contribution to North Karnataka” the organizer had earlier said in a press release. A delegation of Tanzeem from Bhatkal led by Vice President Inayathullah Shabandri along with Vice President II Mohtesham Jafar, General Secretary Altaf Kharuri, Moulana Yasir Barmawar, Ashfaq KM, attended the event in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Karnataka Deputy CM Dr. G Parameshwara was the chief guest of the event and also released a book ‘Achievers of Karnataka’. In the book, Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem has been introduced as “Leaving an indelible mark in the social service especially disaster relief” and brief history of the organization has been penned along with its aims and objectives. Bhatkallys Media Society takes the opportunity to congratulate the pioneer organization of the community on the feat and prays to Almighty Allah to keep it and its office bearers away from evil eye and for it to continue serving the people of community in years to come.
