BhatkalNews.com conducts Peace Conference

Bhatkal - Editor of local news website bhatkalnews.com, Mr Ateequr Rahman Shabandri yesterday hosted a program as a part of its Peace Mission here at Kazia Hasan Memorial Hall, Rabita Complex.

The program was started with the Qir'aat of Abdul Azeem Qazia Nadvi. Later host Ateequr Rahman delivered the welcome speech and introduced the guests.

Speaking on the occasion leaders from all communities appreciated the initiative undertaken by bhatkalnews.com to bring together different communities and to create peaceful atmosphere in the town. Several religious leaders while expressing their views shed light on Islamic teachings and its message of peace and advised the audience to live peaceful life and let others live peacefully.

Large number of Hindu and Muslim community leaders including Asst. Qazi Jamtul Muslimeen Moulana Abdul Azeem Nadvi, Municipality President Mr Inayatullah Shabandri, Incharge AC Mr Naveen Kumar, DySP Mr M Narayan, BJP leader Mr N G Kolle, Namdhari Samaj President Mr L S Naik, Mr Surendra Shanbhag of Seva Vahini, Buider Mr Shabbar (Murdeshwar) were among the dignitaries present on the stage. The program was presided over by Mr Abdullah Lanka and anchored by Mr Ismail Chedubapa Shabandri. Mr Ateequr Rahman Shabandri proposed the vote of thanks and it was concluded at around 3:00 pm with dua.
