Bhatkalli students from different colleges bags all three medals in Hammer throw at VTU sports meet

Zaorez Shabab Bhatkal 07 Nov 2017: Three Bhatkalli students who participated in VTU's 20th Athletic meet from three different colleges bagged all the top three spots of the event while displaying excellent sportsmanship and the quality of Athletes that are produced at the ground level here. Sufiyan Akrami, Mohammed Ayyad Kashimji, and Abdul Quadar Talal bagged the first, second and third place respectively in hammer throw event of VTU Sports meet held at Belguam this week. Sufiyan Akrami is a Final year B.Tech student at the Oxford college Bengaluru, Mohammed Ayyad Kashimji who completed B.Tech from Anjuman is now a student of Final year M.Tech at N.M.A.M.I.T NITTE Karkala, while Abdul Quadar Talal is a second student at Anjuman Institute of Technology Management (AITM). Sufiyan Akrami, did his schooling from Anjuman, Ayyad completed his B,Tech at Anjuman and Talal is currently student of Anjuman, significantly all three of them were trained by Physical Director of Anjuman Abdul Razzak, and all three has immense respect for him. Ayyad is the son of Prominent social worker of the town Nazir Kashimji, and is also a well known athlete right from his schooling days. He has also represented Anjuman for three consecutive years in Hammer Throw during his B.Tech days and has bagged two silver medals for Anjuman while last year he bagged gold medal while NITTE. Talal, who represented Anjuman in hammer throw previous year returned without any medal last year but this time made sure he bags Bronze at the event. He also participated in Discuss throw but missed the medal by a small margin.
