Bhatkalli Hafiz represents India at Dubai International Quran Award

Dubai - In a proud moment for the Bhatkalli community, Mohammed Tariq Sadiq Akrami created history after becoming the first Bhatkalli to represent India at an Islamic competition of global repute. The 21year old son of Moulana Sadiq Akrami took to the stage on Thursday, amidst a large crowd at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, to recite the Holy Quran.
The Dubai International Holy Quran Award brings together the best Quran reciter's from across the globe. Tariq started off on a confident note before making a few errors during his recitation,crossing a little over 10 minutes.
A student of Jamia Islamia, Bhatkal, Tariq was greeted to a full house, mostly comprising of Bhatkalli people living in Dubai.
Bhatkallys.com congratulates the young Hafiz on his commendable achievement. We hope and pray, Tariq makes it to the top 10 in the competition.
