Bhatkalis in Qatar celebrate Eid Milan

Doha (Bhatkallys News): Bhatkal Muslim Jamat Qatar held a grand Eid Milan function here in Qatar on 9th August 2013 at The Garden Village Restaurant.
A buffet dinner was organized in the restaurant after Isha salah and then the programme began with recitation of Quran by Ahmad s/o Moulvi Fuzail. Thereafter, the convener of Eid Milan program, Tahir Hussain Kazia presented the welcome speech.
Speaking at the function, Vice President Moulvi Mohammed Azhar said that worshipping Allaah (SWT) and performing good deeds only during the month of Ramadan will not lead to our salvation and we should continue worshipping Allaah (SWT) and perform good deeds in all other months as well.
On this occasion, children entertained the audience with Quranic recitations, Naat-e-Rasool, poems, and jokes. Zakir Aden presented a fun show on this occasion, followed by mental-ability test, physical test, and an entertainment session.
In this session, a quiz contest was also held that was anchored by Abdul Ghani Aliakbara in which the first prize of 1,000 QAR was won by Abdul Fattah, second prize of 600 QAR went to Areeb Khalifa and 3rd prize of 400 QAR went to Ebrahim Khaleel.
Speaking at the function, President Zubair Khalifa gave beneficial advice on maintaining brotherhood and practicing Islam wholeheartedly.
On this occasion, a ruffle draw was also organized, in which Atiqur Raheman Peshmam was the lucky winner of Bumper Prize Hero Honda Splendor motor bike. The second prize of INR 44,444 was won by Areeb Khalifa and the third prize, to and fro air ticket to India, was won by Makeen kandloor.
The programme concluded with the delivery of vote of thanks by Salahuddin Shabandari.
