Bhatkal youth Anzar Hussain Sukur secures global rank in ACCA exams

Bhatkal, 29 March 2026: (Bhatkallys News Bureau)  A young achiever from Bhatkal, Anzar Hussain Sukur, has made his mark at the international level by securing top ranks in the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) examinations.

He secured 10th rank globally and 3rd rank nationally, bringing recognition not only to his family but also to the town.

Anzar Hussain is the son of Imtiaz Sukur and a member of Al Hilal Association. A notable aspect of his achievement is that he completed his entire education while staying in Bhatkal, setting an example for local students that major accomplishments are possible even with limited resources.

Alongside his academic success, Anzar is also engaged in religious studies and is currently in the final stage of completing Hifz of the Holy Quran, with only a few portions remaining.

Speaking on the occasion, Anzar said he had met several students who moved to cities like Bengaluru to pursue the ACCA course, but he chose to stay back in Bhatkal and complete it. He also continued his BCom studies alongside ACCA, maintaining a balance in his education.

He said the guidance of teachers in Bhatkal played a key role in his journey, while the religious environment helped him stay committed to Quran memorisation. He added that with strong determination, it is possible to achieve global success even while staying in one’s hometown.

Anzar was felicitated by Al Hilal Association during a Fitra Committee meeting held at Hilal Shareef Juma Masjid, where his dedication and hard work were appreciated.

His achievement is being seen as an inspiration for the youth of Bhatkal to pursue their goals with focus, discipline and the right guidance.
