Bhatkal: YMSA Football team secures runner-up spot in Shiroor tournament

Bhatkallys News Bureau Bhatkal 26 Nov 2017: In a tournament organized by Shiroor Football Club (SFC) Bhatkal’s YMSA team secured runners up spot while Shiroor’s royal team emerged winners of the tournament. According to the reports a total of 34 teams from across the region participated in the event, YMSA reached finals by beating four teams and lost a nail-biting encounter in the final 2-1 to royal team of Shiroor. A cash prize of Rs. 6060 and a trophy was given to the runners up, while Goalkeeper of YMSA Mifzak Shabandri, and Abdul Mueed Ajaib both bagged best goalkeeper and best player of the tournament awards respectively.
