Bhatkal women centre donate vehicle to Heble Gram Panchayath for garbage collection

Bhatkal, 11 February2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Women Centre on Sunday, donated a vehicle that will be used for picking up of the garbage, in its vicinity. Heble Gram, Panchayath thanked the officials of the women centre for the donation and termed it to be a ‘concrete contribution’. Panchayath president ND Moger, received the vehicle at the women centre’s office in the presence of other officials and councilors of the body. The vehicle will be used by the garbage management wing of Heble Panchayath to collect door-to-door garbage and to dispose it. The Panchayath’s president during the event requested people to avoid disposing waste on the roads and street and has also requested people to maintain two different bins for the ease in it's disposal. Mr ND Moger and Madinah welfare society expressed their gratitude to Khadhija Kazia, the managing director of the women’s centre for the donation of the vehicle that will help in resolution of garbage issue that has gripped the locality for several years now.
