Bhatkal: Winners of Vision India Mission Foundation's essay competition announced

Bhatkal August 15, 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) As a part of Independence Day Celebration,Vision India Mission Foundation(R) (VIMF) organised Bhatkal Taluka Inter High School essay writing competition on the subject “How Digitization is Strengthening Indian Democracy”. The Prize Distribution Ceremony of the said competition was held on 15th of August 2018. Kumari Hajira Aifa D/o Abdul Salam Ruknuddin of Anjuman Girls High School, Nawayath Colony, Bhatkal bagged the first prize. The second prize was bagged by Kumari Darshini Y Chandragiri student of Beena Vaidya International School, Murdeshwara & the third prize was bagged by Kumari Maziya Maqbool Mohammed Ali Akbara- New Shams School, Bhatkal. The consolation prizes were also given to 4  students. Mr.Veerendra Baadkar Tahsildar & Taluka Executive Magistrate  Bhatkal Taluk was the Chief Guest of the function. Mr.Muhammed Ishaq Shabandari–Additional Gen.Secretary Anjuman Hami Muslimeen, Bhatkal, JCI Sen Abdul Jabbar Saheb President JCI, Bhatkal City, Mr.Nazeer Kashimji Social Worker, Bhatkal  were the Guest of Honour. Mr. Muhammed Farooque Shaikh Presided the function. On this occasion two meritorious students were also felicitated, one Ms.Dhanashree Ravindra Prabhu who completed CA in first attempt without any coaching & Mr.Abdul Bais Kadli who bagged 6 gold medals at Siddaganga Institute of Technology Tumkur in Chemical Engineering. The event began with the recitation of holy Quran, followed by Amjad Shaikh presenting report on essay writing competition, Nazeer Ahmad Shaikh, Finance Secretary welcomed the gathering, while Showkath Khateeb Senior Vice President of VIMF introduced the guests, Dr.Naseem Ahmed Khan rendered vote of thanks.
