Bhatkal: WhatsApp Admin arrested for morphed image of PM Modi in his group

Bhatkallys News Service Bhatkal 02 May 2017: Acting upon an complaint for posting a morphed image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Murdeshwar Police today arrested one person from Murdeshwar who is said to be the admin of the WhatsApp  group in which the picture was posted. The arrested has been identified as Krishna Naik (30) of Murdeshwar, while the complainant has been identified as Ananth Munjunath Naik, a resident of Murdeshwar itself. Krishna has been sent to Judicial Custody. It is to be noted that a lot of morphed and doctored images circulate on several social media channels and there is a need to be very cautious will posting or forwarding any materials on social media.
