Bhatkal: "We want a solution to our garbage problems" - Madina colony residents

Bhatkal 10 Oct 2017: Members Madina Welfare Society (MWS) on Tuesday held a meeting with Heble Gram Panchayath members at MWS office and discussed with them several issues that needs quick solutions.
Primary issue that was raised during the meeting was of unavailability of a single dumping zone or door to door pick up service for wastes because of which residents dump their wastes on the roadsides and streets. Issue of water supply was also raised during the meet.
Replying to the concerns Abu Ali, Vice president of Heble Gram Panchayath assured the society members resolving their issues soon while also explaining the procedure and the hurdles they come across while implementing new work plans.
The meeting began with recitation of Quran, after which Moulana Irfaan welcomed the guest, President of MWS Prof. Zarzari also addressed the meeting.
Several members of MWS and Heble Gram Panchayath were present at the meeting.
