Bhatkal Urban Bank celebrates Golden Jubilee

02 Nov 2013 | Rizwan Gangavaly | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Bhatkal Urban Cooperative Bank celebrated its Golden Jubilee function at Kamlavati Shanbhag Hall near Eidgah which was inaugurated by Minister for Higher Education Mr. R V Deshpande. Speaking at the function Deshpande said Bank has huge deposits and creditors are also less in number.  He also praised the bank management and urged cooperation from traders who borrow money from the bank. He also urged the bank to facilitate the education for students and provide them with educational loans. The programme began with playing of national anthem. Bank Manager Abdul Razak welcomed the audience and Bank Chairman Akram Musbah presented the Bank Report and mentioned the purpose of the establishment of the bank. On this occasion, MLA Mankal Vaidya, ex-MLA J D Naik, and others expressed their thoughts.
