Bhatkal: Truck carrying goods falls off bridge at Mudbhatkal

Bhatkal 11 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A truck carrying goods fell off the bridge at Mudbhatkal after the driver lost control over the vehicle here on early hours of Tuesday 11 September. Speaking to Bhatkallys.com PSI Kusumadhara, informed that the driver has been absconding since the accident along with his helper, but the eye witnesses and locals had spotted both of them escaping unhurt from the spot, after which they went missing. "The details of the truck owner has been taken from the RTO, and the owner who is a resident of Udupi has been summoned to the Bhatkal Police Station on Wednesday with all the documents" Kusumadhara added. "The truck is still at the accident spot and will be lifted using two cranes tomorrow” the officer further added. No case has been registered yet, as the officer said further investigations will be initiated after the driver and owner report to the police. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
