Bhatkal: Town police detains two while playing 'Matka' Gambling game near Eidgah

Bhatkal 24 February 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The Bhatkal Town Police on Saturday detained two men while they were playing ‘Matka’ gambling game here at Bunder road near Eid Gah Masjid of Bhatkal. The detained have been identified as Mohan Naik (27), of Hanuman Nagar and Chandru Naik of Jali. Working on a tip-off Bhatkal Town PSI Kusumadhara on Saturday night around 8pm detained Mohan and Chandru when they were exchanging numbers for playing ‘Matka’ game. The police seized cash worth Rs.1200, a pen and a sheet containing ‘Matka’ numbers. A case has been registered at Bhatkal town police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
