Bhatkal to soon get a Mini Vidhana Soudha

June 26, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: After years of wait, the state government has finally given approval for construction of Mini Vidhana Soudha in Bhatkal. The government has approved a budget of Rs 10 crores for the construction of a 3-floor Mini Vidhana Soudha in the heart of the town. The building would be constructed by PWD at Survey No 580, a government-owned land situated at Bunder Road. It would house offices relating to Bhatkal taluk administration under one roof. The building would have the Labour Department, Excise Department, Taluka Survey Office, Department of Social Welfare among other offices – all presently housed in isolated rented places. ARF
