Bhatkal to celebrate first day of Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday

28th July 2014 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal – Since the crescent moon of the month of Shawwaal was not witnessed on Sunday, residents of Bhatkal and nearby towns completed the 30 days of fasting on Monday and will observe first day of Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday. Due to rains, Eid prayers will be held in all Juma mosques of Bhatkal. As per announcement of Eidgah Committee Bhatkal, Eid-ul-Fitr prayers will start at 7:45 am in Jamia Masjid, Khaleefah Jamia Masjid and Nawayat Colony Tanzeem Millia Masjid. In Madina Colony Juma Masjid, Makhdoomia Juma Masjid Bhatkal, and Moglihonda Bilal Masjid, prayers will begin at 8:00 am and in other Juma masjids, prayers will take place at 8:15 am.
