Bhatkal to celebrate Eid Ul Fitr on Thursday

07th August 2013 / Bhatkal Bureau / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal -  Reports of moon sighting from Udupi, Gangavaly, and several other places have confirmed Eid will begin in Bhatkal on Thursday. The Qazis of Bhatkal made the announcement after Maghrib prayer's on Wednesday. Due to rains, Eid prayers will be held in all Juma mosques of Bhatkal. Prayers will start at 7:30 am in Jamia Masjid Bhatkal, Khaleefah Jamia Masjid Bhatkal, Makhdoomia Juma Masjid Bhatkal and Nawayat Colony Tanzeem Millia Masjid. In Madina Colony Juma Masjid and Moglihonda Bilal Masjid, prayers will begin at 7:45 am and in other Juma masjids, prayers will take place at 8:00 am.
