Bhatkal: TMC shops auction postponed to further date; details here

Bhatkal: The auction of 21 Municipal shops that was scheduled on October 25, has now been postponed to a further date. TMC President Parvez Kashimji informed that the move was prompted by the order of the Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner. In a press conference on Friday, Parvez told reporters that the Assistant Commissioner has received a written submission calling for temporarily halting the auction of the shops, following which the officer has put the auction on hold. He further added that he will meet Assistant Commissioner Mamata Devi on Monday and will discuss the next date for auctioning of the shop. He said he was hopeful that a new date will be finalized in their next meeting on Monday. TMC Chief Officer and other officials were present during the press conference with Parvez.
