Bhatkal: TMC removes all outdated plastic banners on roadside across Taluka

Bhatkal 1 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Following the orders of Chief officer of Bhatkal Town Municipality Council, the personnel of TMC on Monday afternoon removed all the plastic banners displayed on the road side across Bhatkal Taluka. The Members of Municipality on Monday removed all the outdated and unauthentic plastic banners and hording in various places of Bhatkal Taluka including Ameenuddin Road, Nawayath colony and places near National Highway. Speaking to the media Chief Officer Devraj said “The operation of removing unauthentic and outdated plastic banners is being taken place since three to four days. We had already issued notice to respective advertisers for removal of the banners. As they failed to remove them, we came forward to do so. However, if the same attitude is followed by them in upcoming days, strict actions and penalties will be laid on them” added he. On this occasion Revenue officer, Dayanand Desai, RS Ulevkar, Louis D’souza, Girish Gunaga, Kiran Naik, and others were present during the operation. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
