Bhatkal: Three killed on the spot as bikes goes into flames after colliding with tempo

Bailur 14 August 2018: In a ghastly road accident three killed on the spot after the bike in which they were travelling collided with a local tempo at Bailur near Murudeshwar of Bhatkal Taluka here on 14 August 2018. The deceased have been identified has Abhishek Naik (21) resident of Kumta, Sandeep Gowda (15) and Sangeeta Gowda (12), both resident of Anantwadi. According to the sources, the incident took place when the trio, on their way towards Anantwadi from Murudeshwar rammed into the oncoming local tempo resulting in the fuel tank's burst, and a sudden blast on the accident spot claimed the lives of three victims. However, the police personnel of both Manki and Murdeshwar police stations rushed to the spot for the initial investigation and shifted the bodies to Manki Government Hospital for post mortems.
