Bhatkal: Thousands of people attend day 1 of two-day district Tableeghi ijtema

Bhatkal 30 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Thousands of people from across the district turned up on day 1 of the two-day district Tableeghi ijtema at Kola ground on Jali road here on Sunday, December 30. The Taluka administration has deployed police personnel at the ijtema's location and on the roads leading to the location to manage traffic and to avoid chaos. The two-day ijtema is scheduled to conclude on 31 December 10.00 pm after supplications. Like every year, this year too, people from across the district turned up, and the numbers are expected to go up on the second and final day of the ijtema especially for the last session of supplications.
