Bhatkal: Theft attempted at a locked house in Khalifa Street; burglars finds nothing to takeaway

Bhatkallys News Bureau A theft case has been reported today, where burglars went empty handed from a locked house located opposite to Khalifa Jamia Masjid at Khalifa street here in the early morning hours on Jan 18. The house belonged to Abdul Mateen Aliakbara. It is said that the house had been locked since 4 months and residents were shifted to a nearby house in the same locality. However the family often used to visit the house. According to the reports, resident who visited the house in the morning on Thursday were shocked upon finding the  front door of the house broke open. It is said that thieves had broken the front door lock and entered into the house. It was noticed that almost all cupboards in the house were broke-open. But the burglars could not find any valuables and had to return empty handed. A case has been registered at Bhatkal town Police Station.
