Bhatkal: Taziati Ijlas in memory of Bader Bhau held

Bhatkal - 26 May 2011: Rich tributes were paid to Dr Badrul Hasan Muallim at a condolence meet organized jointly by five markazi jamaats of Bhatkal here at Anjuman ground. The program commenced with the recitation of holy Quran by Mohammed Mubeen Ikkery and was presided over by Tanzeem vice-president Mr S. J. Khalid. The program was attended by eminent personalities from Bhatkal and far places including large number of non-Muslim brothers.

Speaking on this occasion, representatives of different organizations and famous personalities remembered Badar Bhav as a great human being, leader, thinker, social worker and community leader who delivered selfless services for the upliftment of downtrodden people without looking their religion and caste. They termed his demise as a great loss to mankind.

Some of the comments expressed by the people were like this, 'He always preferred others over his own interests. He was always available for peace meets and any kind of programs connected with community. His views expressed in any meeting will always play decisive role in arriving at a consensus. He never show his anger. He always encouraged patriotism and communal harmony'

On this occasion Mr R V Deshpande (MLA and former KPCC President), Bhatkal MLA Mr J D Naik, Mr D H Shabber, Mr Surendra Shanbhag, Mr Satheesh Naik, Mr L S Naik, Mr Basti Abdul Malik (Kumta) Mr Mohammed Gouse A Shaikh (Yellapur), Mr M Narayan (Bhatkal DSP), Moulana Ubaidullah Kandluri, Moulana Sadiq Akrami, Moulana Abdul Bari, Moulana Khwaja Madani, Moulana Mulla Mohammed Iqbal Nadvi, Mr Ashraf Barmavar, Mr Inayatullah Shabandri, Master Shafi Shabandri Patel, Mr Syed Hasan Saqqaf, Mr S M Khan, Mr Ali Janab (Karwar), Mr Ahmed Shaikh (Sirsi), Mr Bomayya Naik, Mr S J Khalid and several others have expressed their condolences and prayed for the deceased and those who are undergoing treatment at Hospitals for their fast recovery.

Apart from this, several prominent personalities including Moulana Syed Mohammed Rabey Nadvi, Moulana Sayeedul Rahman Nadvi, Mr Vishveshwvear Hegde Kageri, Mr Bangarappa (former Karnataka CM), Mr Amar Narayan (DC, Shimoga), Ms Margarett Alva & Sons, Mr Dinakar Shetty (MLA, Kumta), Mr Victor Gomes, Mr Shivanand Naik have sent their condolence messages which were read out on this occasion.

The program was compered by Ateeq Rahman Shabandri and concluded with the supplication of Moulana Mulla Iqbal Nadvi.
