He further claimed the private vehicles need to pay lesser fees comparatively at the toll gates which in return encourages them to use private vehicles for taxis. He also warned private vehicle drivers and said "We will now start stopping vehicles which we know are being used as taxis, we know people often travel to airport and hospitals but if we find them travelling in private vehicles as taxis we will stop them and hand over the drivers to police, we will not be responsible for inconveniences caused to the passengers then". The memorandum also named a few of the drivers along with the registration numbers of their cars who are using private vehicles as taxis. ARTO accepted the memorandum and assured them of initiating strict actions against those not abiding the laws.
