Bhatkal Tanzeem delegation meets DC and SP in Karwar

Bhatkal - 20 Sep 2012: A delegation led by Bhatkal Majlis Islah wa Tanzeem yesterday met Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police in Karwar and held talks in connection with the memorandum submitted to the Govt few days back against the recent false and biased reporting by regional media against Bhatkal Muslims. On this occasion the delegates held separate meetings with the DC Ms Imkongla Jamir and SP Mr K P Balakrishnan and demanded action against the newspaper and its reporter. They also warned against massive protest if their demands were not met.

On this occasion Tanzeem General Secretary Mr Altaf Kharuri, Mr S M Syed Parvez, Mr Inayatullah Shabandri, Mr Ateeq Rahman Shabandri, Moulana Khaleel Rahman Muniri, Mr Abdullah Damudi, Moulana Shoaib Ikkery, Moulana Syed Zubair S M, Mr Zameerullah Sharief, Mr Abdul Azeem Ambari and Mr Jailani Siddiqa were present.
