Bhatkal Taluka Kannada Sahitya Parishat organises quiz competition at Anand Ashram convent school

Bhatkal 2 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Taluka Kannada Sahitya Parishat on Saturday organized a quiz competition for the High school students on Kannada language, Literature and culture, at Anand Ashram Convent High School Auditorium here on September 1.
During the inauguration event, Principal of Jnaneshwari B.ed college, Dr.R.Narasimha Murthi spoke to the audience and said “It is indeed a great pleasure that the Parishat is working in all possible way to attract student towards Kannada literature”.
During the event the President of Uttara Kannada working Journalist Association Radhakrishna Bhat, spoke to the audience and expressed his happiness over organizing such events.
Various schools across Bhatkal Taluka took part in the competition where the Shrivali high school of Chitrapur bagged the first place, Janatha Vidyalaya of Murdeshwar stood second, while Anand Ashram convent and Janatha Vidyala of Shirali stood at third place in the competition.
The event began with welcome note by M.P. Bhandari and was later concluded with the national anthem.
President of Taluka Samithi Gangadhar Naik, Sister Saritha Thoros, Sister Aarogya Mary, Sir.Patrick, teachers, students of Anand Ashram school and others were present during the occasion.
