Bhatkal: Taluka administration to organise Tipu Jayanti celebrations at Khushaal; Tanzeem seeks public support

Bhatkal 9 November 2018:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Taluka administration in association with Taluka Panchayat, TMC and Jali Patan Panchayath will organise Tipu Jayanti celebration on 10 November Saturday, 10 am here at Khushaal of Nawayath colony Bhatkal. Earlier, in a meeting the responsibilities of the event were duly distributed among concerned departments and people wherein Dr. Shripad Shetty, professor at a Honnavar college and Moulana Mohammed Iqbal Naite Nadvi of Jamiya Islamiya were asked to deliver speeches during the event. However, Bhatkal-Honnavar MLA Sunil Naik earlier had submitted a letter to District and Taluk administrations to not invite him for the celebration. However, local socio-political organisation Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Bhatkal on Friday called upon locals to turn up in numbers for the event to make it a grand success.
