Bhatkal Taluk Madivala Welfare Association felicitates young achievers

Bhatkal: The monthly meeting of the Bhatkal Taluk Madivala Welfare Association, along with a felicitation programme for achievers, was held at the hall of the Hadimasti Temple in Shirali. Association president Ramesh Madivala presided over the programme.

On the occasion, Sinchana Thimmappa Madivala, who secured sixth rank at the university level in the 2025 BSc examinations conducted by Karnataka University, was felicitated. Pavitra Raghuram Madivala, who was selected to the Karnataka University Dharwad Kabaddi team and awarded the University Blue, was also honoured. The association further felicitated Nagaraj Ganesh Shirali for securing fourth place at the state level in a drawing competition conducted by the Karnataka Examination Board.

Addressing the gathering, association guides K.B. Madivala, headmaster of Alvekodi Durgaparameshwari High School, and Mamata Bhatkal, headmistress of Shrivali High School, Chitrapur, spoke on the importance of education, discipline and encouragement for young achievers.

Honorary president Venkatesh Madivala Shirali, secretary Nityanand Teerthahalli, treasurer Rajesh Madivala, other office-bearers and members of the community were present. Financial advisor Krishnanand Madivala welcomed the gathering, while teacher Raghavendra Madivala compered the programme.
