Bhatkal Tahsildar VN Bhadkar transferred; Binoy KP takes charge as new Tahsildar

Bhatkal 22 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Binoy KP, a 2014 batch Karnataka Administrative Services (KAS) officer took charge as the new Tahsildar of Bhatkal earlier last week on November 12, here. VN Bhadkar, as per the reports has been transferred to Bengaluru, to make way for Binoy to take up his first posting of the career. Binoy, after taking up the charge earlier this month, has taken the bricks and rocks extracting mafia head-on after which the young officer according to reports has started getting threat calls after launching a crackdown on them. Speaking about the threats Binoy said "There is no mafia, these are certain people who are doing things illegally, our job is to fix them and we are doing it". Asked about his priorities in Bhatkal, Binoy added, "The parliamentary elections is due next year and there is a lot of work that needs to be done before election, getting it done is my priority".
