Bhatkal Tahsildar hands over Rs. 1 lakh cheque to the families of missing fishermen

Bhatkal 26 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Tahsildar VN Bhadkar on Friday handed over cheques of Rs. 1 lakh each to the families of two fishermen from Bhatkal who went missing in December along with their boat and fellow fishermen during deep sea fishing from Malpe. Bhadkar visited the houses of the fishermen Ramesh Moger of Belli and Harish Moger of Alvikodi and expressed solidarity with their families and updated the families on the search operations of the missing boat. He then handed over the cheque to the family and assured them of further updating them on the search operations. Revenue officials were also present along with the Tahsildar while handing over the cheque to the family. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
