Bhatkal: Tableegi Ijtema on Jan 07 and 08; preparations on full swing

Bhatkal Jan 05 2017: The annual Tableegi Ijtema will be organized in Bhatkal for 2017-2018 and the organizers are busy with its preparations at the event venue Kola ground on Jali road in Bhatkal.
The annual event attracts people from across the district in its attendance, especially during the last session of the event when the supplications are made. Most of the local shopkeepers tend to keep their shutters down during the last session of the event.
The event will begin on Jan 07 and will come to an close on Jan 08. Imams of several Masjids today after Friday prayers requested people to turn up in numbers for the event.
