Bhatkal: Stunt driver receives grand welcome after Ladakh trip

Bhatkal 19 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A young stunt rider of Bhatkal Akhil, aka Aki D Hot Pistonz who embarked on a bike journey to Leh and Ladakh exactly one month from today, returned to his hometown Bhatkal and received a warm welcome by the resident of Maghdoom colony and members of Al-Hilal Sports club here on July 19, Thursday.
An YouTuber by profession Akhil has over 573,405 subscribers on his YouTube channel 'Aki D Hot Pistonz' and is also claimed by his fans to be India's number one stunt rider.
Akhil embarked on a bike journey to Leh and Ladakh from Bhatkal on 18 June to promote road safety among his fans and followers, covering over 7000 kilometers up and down.
Speaking to Bhatkallys.com on his return to Bhatkal Akhil expressed his joy of finishing the ride and said "I am extremely delighted to have completed the ride, I went on to promote road safety and I guess I have done a satisfactory job, I met thousands of my fans on the journey we held programs and ta[starlist][/starlist]ught them about road safety, so it has been a wonderful journey to cover 7000 kms in 30 days".
Akhil also claimed that he created a world record of performing stunts at India's highest motor-able roads at the height of over 18500 fts during the journey.
"I performed stunt at India's highest motor-able road about 18500 fts, at such high altitude you cannot breath due to the lack of oxygen, even when I went there I was vomiting blood due to lack of oxygen, so the previous world record for performing stunt was at 13,000 fts, so I have created the world record and will come up soon officially when I submit my applications" he added.
Akhil was also felicitated and awarded by Indian Army's 18 Rashtriya Rifles wing for his cause.
Prominent social worker of town Nazir Kashimji, congratulated Akhil on his achievement and welcomed the young rider by garlanding him along with members of Al-Hilal Sports club.
