Bhatkal: "Study hard and make your parents proud" Moulana Khaja Madani at Anjuman PUC annual day

Bhatkal 29 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Anjuman Pre-University College for Boys, Bhatkal on Saturday organised its 51st annual day celebrations here at its campus at Anjumanabad.
Moulana Khaja Akrami Madani, Qazi Khalifa Jamatul Muslimeen Bhatkal, was present as the chief guest of the event while Chartered Accounted Muzzamil Ruknuddin was present as the guest of honor for the event that was presidedby Anjuman President Abdul Rahim Jukaku, while other office bearers of Anjuman including Vice President I Abdul Rahman Batin, Vice President II Abdul Rahman Damudi, General Secretary Ismail Siddique, Additional General Secretary Ishaq Shabandri, College board secretary Mohsin Shandri were also present on the dias along with principal Yusuf Kola and function chairman Shafique Ahmed Ukkund.
Moulana Khaja in his address to the students, stressed on focusing on the studies and urged them to not let their parents down, and study hard to make them proud, as they struggle all their lives to give their children better and satisfying lives.
Muzzamil Ruknuddin asserted that students should take lessons from the life of former India President APJ Abdul Kalam, as he always believed in the youth of the nation. He also urged them to prepare themselves for the 'challenging and cruel world' which comes as a part of life after completing education.
College board secretary Mohsin Shabandri, asked the students to get their priorities right when it comes to the education and academics and also urged them to come prepared for the classes with clear and focused mind. He was of the opinion that studying at the last hour before examination will take students nowhere and that focused education and knowledge will help students at various steps of lives.
The inaugural event concluded with the presidential remarks of Abdul Rahim Jukaku.
Winners of several events and competitions were awarded prizes during the event while a student each from all the three streams were awarded 'most disciplined student award'.
