Bhatkal students perform at the Indian Community Eid Milan 2011

MUSCAT(Bhatkallys News) : Bhatkal students had a rare opportunity to perform at the Indian Community Eid Milan 2011 held at the Embassy of India, Muscat. Maryam Aftab Kola, Ula Suhail Ekkeri and Aisha Umaima Saleem Ruknuddin, all students of Indian School Muscat, played major roles in an Eid skit. It was well appreciated by the audience.

The Eid Milan started with fellowship as people greeted one another on the manicured lawns of the Embassy of India. Anil Wadhwa, ambassador of India to Oman, congratulated the Muslims on the occasion. Yusuf Nalwala and Sridhar Sridharan, also spoke.

Aftab Kola, co-ordinator of the Eid Milan 2011, compered the programme. The programme ended with snacks and softdrinks. About 350 people, including families, attended the well-organised event.
