Bhatkal Student wins Gold medal in Athletics

Bangalore - 12 August 2011: Bhatkal student, Shridhar Shyamu Baidamane won Gold medal in 400 meter hurdles at 27th Karnataka State Athletics Event held in Bangalore.

Shyamu, a BA student from SDM College, Ujire clocked 56.6 sec to emerge winner in 400 meter hurdles race. It may be interesting to note that, last year also Shyamu has won the State level competition and selected for National level event.
