Bhatkal student tops B.Sc exams under Yenepoya University

Bhatkal: Hajira Aifa, daughter of Abdul Salam Ruknuddin, has secured the first rank in the B.Sc final examinations conducted by Yenepoya University, Mangaluru, scoring an aggregate of 99.4 percent.

She obtained full marks in Advanced EMG (Theory) and Clinical Neuroscience Technology-IV (Practical), along with 99 percent each in three other theory subjects. More than 800 students from different states appeared for the examination.

Hajira completed her schooling at Anjuman Azad Primary School and later studied at Anjuman Pre-University College for Women, Bhatkal, where she had earlier scored centum in multiple subjects in the PUC II examinations. She is currently pursuing her studies at the Yenepoya School of Allied Health Sciences, Mangaluru.

Apart from academics, Hajira has also taken part in extracurricular activities and sports, including badminton.

Her father, Abdul Salam Ruknuddin, is an executive member of Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem, Bhatkal.
