Bhatkal: Student injured after bike skids on Jamia Abad road

Zaorez Shabab Bhatkal 19 Oct 2017: Ibrahim Hassan, a resident of Kumta and a student of Jamia Islamia Bhatkal was injured when he lost control over his bike on Jamia Abad road while on his way back to home after writing his exams at Jamia Islamia on Thursday. According to the eye witnesses of the accident, Ibrahim reportedly lost his control over the bike when a over-speeding vehicle tried to overtake him resulting in Ibrahim panicking and applying sudden brakes. Ibrahim sustained head injuries and was rushed to the Taluka Govt. Hospital Bhatkal for first aid before shifting him to a private hospital in Honnavar for further treatment.
