Bhatkal student becomes first kid from Uttara Kannada to qualify for National Karate Championship

Bhatkal: 30 November 2024 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Mustafiz Kola, a student of Ali Public School, has qualified for the national-level karate championship after his impressive performance at the state-level competition held at Vijayapura, Devanahalli, Bengaluru. 

The competition, organized for children under 14 years of age and weighing 29 kg, saw participation from 28 students.  

Mustafiz's achievement marks a milestone as he becomes the first student from Bhatkal to reach the national level in this category. The national-level competition is scheduled to be held in Punjab on December 21, 2024, where he will represent Karnataka.  

Mustafiz trains at the Revolution Martial Arts Academy, Bhatkal, under the guidance of coach Zuhaib Jushiddi. The officials of Ali Public School have congratulated him on his success and extended their best wishes for the upcoming event.
