Bhatkal SIO organizes inaugural function of educational awareness campaign

1st June 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: "Problems we face today because of lack of ethics among educated people are the giving of Western culture. Behaviour of abuse and disregard of parents by western-tamed generations are condemnable. That's why it's important to give proper breeding and fostering along with education and it's crucial to keep check on the behaviour of the children" - this thought was expressed by Khan Abdul Raheem, who is a lecturer in Anjuman PU College, at the inaugural function of educational awareness campaign organized by Bhatkal SIO in Dawat Center Program Hall. He further said that the Internet is an important medium for acquiring knowledge and its proper utilization will help immensely in the gathering of useful information. He also said that proper decision making and keeping our hearts and minds pure is equally important as education. Thereafter, Abdul Raoof Saonoor praised the extra-ordinary efforts of SIO in teaching behavioural skills and Islamic principles to students since more than 30 years. On this occasion, Vice President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (Bhatkal Unit) Maulana S M Zuber likewise expressed his thoughts and praised the efforts of SIO Bhatkal. The program began with Quran recitation of Syed Umar Aseem. Bhatkal SIO President Zia-ur-Rehman Ruknuddin Nadvi gave the opening speech. Program ended with thank-you words by Syed Yousuf Barmawar and announcement by Mohammed Nazeef Manegar. A huge gathering of students and local residents attended the program.
